I have been caught up so much work that I have forgotten the core of what has got me where I am. There are some people that no one knows about but that have helped me through thick and thin and have offered endless amounts of support and advice. In any letter/post that you thank people you always forget someone or something so if I forgot you ping me a mail and hit me over the head.

Without these people I would never be where I am today. I have been selfish and caught up in so much that I have not had time to mention the key people that got me where I am today. This blog entry is not a shameful plug to the people it’s so that they get the coverage and thank you that they deserve.

When it comes to the sole person that helped me make all the decisions Charles Carroll is the person to single out. He has been awesome to me like a father figure. It all started when he sent me (from the USA to South Africa) a 22lbs which is 10kg, that’s a lot to send overseas and cost a fortune. He then constantly offered me advice which first lead me to create the most successful non Microsoft Active Directory programming group on the internet. This group was mainly responsible for my MVP award for three years in a row and through that I made many new friends. He then organized many of my USA trips to Disney land and Universal studios. The list goes on and on and on  and the point here is he is an incredible person who gives his heart out to close friends and is an incredible source of knowledge. He has provided guidance on both personal and business related issues to me which have helped me get to where I am.

Working for Microsoft is not an easy task but he constantly helps me out with things that I need and my young mind cannot adapt to.

Charles thank you!

Then there is Joao Paulo Carreiro probably one of the most underrated developers in the world. A wonderful guy, even though he can be full of Sh1t sometimes he means well deep down. He helped me with Schema Explorer and may other programming endeavors; he just has this huge brain when it comes to programming THANK YOU JOAO. —> his taste in cars is a bit weird (He has a lotus) but hey…

Doug Nelson again a man with a golden heart he paid for books and flights when I went to the states to help me get to where I am today without this I would have been lost and would not have had the opportunities that I have had todate! Doug thank you very much for your help I really appreciate it!

Then there is a group of geniuses that I have no clue why I was invited to it’s a mailing list of friends who help each other. What makes it special is every time one of the members (excluding me) answers something man I just read with my mouth open these guys are true geniuses! Thank you guys your support through these difficult times has really helped me!

I have many times said thank you my wonderful woman Ilze and she knows how much I love her without her I would never be able to do the things I do, I owe you the world and you deserver it to, hang in there babe like someone said to me once, tough times never last but tough people do. You make me what I am and that is an awesome achievement.

To my family, my parents and my brother the support where you guys can give it to me is just phenomenal I really feel loved when I come down to Cape Town, and even though I am there almost ever weekend (at a huge cost though :S) you guys seem to always miss me and give me plenty of love and caring. I love you guys to bits and I will always be there for you!

Then finally my friends, you guys mean a lot to me you provide me with that extra laugh that I need every day or that someone to play golf with or have a drink with, you influence is great.

Everyone provides a great environment for me to be me, I wont lie things are particularly difficult for me at the moment but without the awesome people above I don’t know what I would have done or where I would have been. A big THANK YOU to all of you!

Looking up now I owe a lot of people a lot of thing 😉

Till next time
