The DirTeam.com/ActiveDir.org Weblogs have moved

Reading Time: < 1 minute

After a couple of weeks of careful planning and testing, the Dirteam.com / ActiveDir.org Weblogs (dirteam.com) have moved.

For the past five years, the dirteam.com website was hosted on shared servers in a datacenter in Pasadena in the US.

As a courtesy of my employer, the dirteam.com website is now hosted on a highly available virtual machine in a carbon neutral datacenter in Haarlem, near Amsterdam in the Netherlands. The server is actively monitored, backed up every day and licensed through SPLA. It is behind a redundant firewall and connected to redundant 100Mb/s connections straight to the Amsterdam Internet Exchange.

You should not notice any changes and can remain using the website and our blog(s) as you’re used to.
If you do notice anything failing, let me know.
