Reading Time: < 1 minute

Wondering what Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0 looks like on Windows Server 2008 Server Core? Wondering if your specific bug was one of the (almost) thousand bugs that were fixed in the last two months? Wondering what Windows Server Codename "Longhorn" looks like nowadays? Do you want your Windows Server 200 Beta test server to display "Windows Server (TM) 2008" instead of "Windows Server Codename Longhorn" on the desktop?

June CTP / IDS-3

Microsoft released Windows Server 2008 June Community Technology Preview (June CTP) yesterday and made it available to Beta testers, Technet subscribers and MSDN subscribers. In your subscription you will find it listed as Windows Server 2008 IDS-3. It's available in Datacenter, Enterprise and Standard flavors in one single download. At this moment there are two downloads. One for the x86 platform and one for the x64 platform.

The build is 6001.16606.070619.0730

Product Key

At Microsoft TechNet Live we handed out loads of Windows Server 2008 Beta 3 DVD kits. If you have one, all you need is the 1,8 GB download. The same product keys apply to both versions.
