I’m attending the MVP ‘Transform the Datacentre’ event

Reading Time: 2 minutes

In two weeks time, several UK and IE MVPs are presenting a one-day event called ‘Transform the Datacentre’, packed with presentations on the technology topics they know and care about the most.

Just like I did with the 2013 Belgian Community Day, I’ll also attend this event to support the local MVP community.

About ‘Tranform the Datacentre’

The ‘Transform the Datacentre’ event is hosted by Microsoft and sponsored by Savision. The event takes place on September 10, 2013 at Microsoft Cardinal Place (SW1E 5JL London).

From 8:45 AM to 5:10 PM, the following presentations on the advantages of the Microsoft private cloud and hybrid cloud solutions will be provided:

  • Licensing and what is supported when virtualized with Windows 2012 and System Center? (30 min, David Allen)
  • Virtualization is the key element to your success and it starts with Networking
    (60 min, Aidan Finn)
  • How to manage your Virtual Environments effectively with System Center Virtual Machine Manager (45 min, Damian Flynn)
  • Managing any size data centers is by no means an easy task.
    (60 min, Gordon McKenna)
  • Let’s not forget the applications!
    (70 min, Simon Skinner)
  • Where next? The future is already here today!
(60 min, Gordon McKenna and David Allen)

As an added bonus, when you’re attending this event, you’ll get the opportunity to ask these great minds questions during and after their sessions.

Unfortunately, no sessions on Identity and Access Management (IAM) were planned for this event (nor am I a UK or IE MVP…), but if you have any questions on Identity, Microsoft’s Identity and Access Management solutions (Active Directory, Federation, Rights Management, Dynamic Access Control) for the private and public cloud, you can ask me anything you’d like.

Register today, seats are limited.
