Last week, I received an e-mail from Rick Vanover from Veeam congratulating me with being selected for the 2016 Veeam Vanguard Program by the Veeam Vanguard team.

The Vanguard program is led by the Veeam Technical Product Marketing & Evangelism team and supported by the entire company. It’s a program around the community of Veeam experts that truly gets Veeam’s message, understand Veeam’s products and are Veeam’s closest peers in IT.

I feel honored.

As Didier, as an inaugural (2015) and renewed (2016) Veeam Vanguard points out, honest and straight-forward feedback is always appreciated by Veeam.

As it appears, I was also nominated for this award last year, but did not make the cut. Last year, my colleague Joep Piscaer was awarded as the sole Dutchman, but this year, the list of Veeam Vanguards features multiple Dutch Veeam aficionados.
