One of the most rewarding community activities is to teach young people about technology. Just like in 2014 through 2018, Raymond and I have scheduled another technical inspiration session with High School students of the Graafschap College in Doetinchem, the Netherlands.

On Thursday October 24th, Raymond and I are presenting a 90-minute presentation for this High School’s students aspiring to become Systems Administrators, the organizations that are offering internships and jobs to these students and of course its faculty members.

We hope to inspire the people attending this day with the latest and greatest in Microsoft technologies and how to apply them fittingly. Unfortunately, this is not part of the students’ textbooks (yet). However, it does open up opportunities for students to go and apply with organizations that got inspired at the same time they did.

About our presentation

We will be delivering a presentation on identity, security and modern device management, after Fons Sonnemans' keynote on the wonders of AI.

Essentially, we will be repeating most of the slides we presented at events around the world and package them in a comprehensive, yet entertaining presentation, filled with Do’s, Don’ts, tips and tricks.

About the High School

We are invited by Ronald Wassink, the High School’s owner of the Systems Administration curriculum as part of the MBO Level 4 ICT Management at the Graafschap College in Doetinchem, the Netherlands.

Personally, I feel honored to make the career starts of these IT Professionals-to-be more rewarding and to contribute to their life long learning attitude. As their textbooks don’t contain our information yet, I feel getting it presented to them by two passionate Microsoft MVPs is the next best thing.
