I found on disk one of my first blog's post from my original blog – it is not very 'deep technical killing' style of posts but I decieded to post it back. What was born on the web should stay on the web :).
If you need to quickly find name of an object for which You know only its GUID value You can use ldifde.exe to achive this:
ldifde -d "<guid=....>" -f con -l 1.1 -p base
Of course this can be done also in few other ways – for example using ds*.exe tools.
Looks like the blog renderer messed up the command line by clobbering the -d "" option
