I’m pleased to announce that I will be delivering a 1-hour break-out session with Deji Akomolafe, Staff Solutions Architect at VMware and Matt Liebowitz, Staff Architect at VMware, at VMware VMworld 2020 on September 29th – October 1st, 2020.
About VMware VMworld
VMworld is a global conference for virtualization and cloud computing, hosted by VMware. It is the largest virtualization-specific event. Each year, there is a VMworld US and a VMworld Europe event, addressing VMware’s two main target geographies.
For 2020, VMworld is organized differently to align with the new reality. Instead of multiple VMworld events, one virtual VMworld event is organized. This VMworld 2020 ‘Online Around the Globe’ event is held from September 29th to October 1st, 2020.
About my session
I’m joining Deji and Matt for our 1-hour Active Directory-infused session. We recorded this session recently in a couple of recording sessions (it does take 8 hours to get a perfect 1 hour session ) and this is what we came up with:
VIRTUALIZE ACTIVE DIRECTORY THE RIGHT WAY!
HCP1557, Breakout Session, Level 200, Available On Demand
Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) allows organizations to deploy a scalable and secure directory service for managing users, resources and applications.
Although virtualizing domain controllers has been a simple and supported operation for many years, many organizations have been very reluctant to do so.
Organizations have struggled to understand how to properly navigate and avoid the multiple pitfalls (such as synchronization, convergence, security, time management, availability and data integrity) inherent in virtualizing a production, enterprise-level AD DS infrastructure.
Even when they have virtualized their domain controllers, administrators still worry about the security, safety and integrity of their AD DS infrastructure. Join this session to see how to virtualize AD the right way.
Join us!
Join us for an entertaining hour on everything related to virtualizing Active Directory.
Don’t miss out and register for VMware VMworld Europe 2020.
Tip!
Our session is available to both VMworld General and Premier pass holders. VMworld General passes are available at no cost.
