Last week, I took a trip to Portoroz in Slovenia to present at NT Konferenca.
After the Monday morning workshop with a customer, I drove to Schiphol airport to catch the 5:50 PM flight to Paris Charles de Gaulle airport and a connecting flight to Ljubljana’s Joze Pucnik Airport. With some delay, we safely landed. A driver was waiting for me, and drove me to the Bernardin Grand Hotel in Portoroz.
I shared a room with Aleksandar Nikolic. Fortunately, he was still awake when I finally arrived around 1:30 AM. I went straight to bed to get some rest before presenting two sessions on Tuesday.
The next morning I registered to get my speaker badge and went straight to the speaker room to prepare slides and demos. I did take a peek at Aleksandar’s session.
I delivered my session on increasing the security of on-premises Active Directory with Entra and Defender technologies and the new ‘Just apply the basics in your Azure AD tenant!’ session in front of a large audience. With a lot of familiar faces, I had a good time!
After some facetime with the family back home, I went to bed at 8PM. Well rested and after a really nice breakfast, I presented my third session on Windows Hello for Business in hybrid scenarios.
On Thursday I flew back home, just in time to present at Experts Live Netherlands.
Thank you!
Thank you to the NT Konferenca organization for organizing yet another successful event and inviting me as a speaker, to all my Balkan community friends and, of course, to all the people attending, sitting in on my sessions and, of course, the people with whom I had interesting discussions.
