Living in the Netherlands has its perks. For instance, it's not a very long drive to Dortmund if someone decides to organize an identity event there. You all know what I'm referring to, of course: The Cloud Identity Summit.

For the 2025 edition of this fantastic community event, Raymond and I drove into Dortmund after having worked the morning of Wednesday september 3rd. We didn't drive directly to the venue… No, we were invited by the organization to join them for a tour of the Deutsches Fussballmuseum in the city center, with dinner afterwards at Wenkers Am Markt.

We went to the hotel after dinner to prepare for our session the next morning at the Adesso SE office. We drove there early and enjoyed Guido Grillenmeier's excellent keynote, poking fun at Eric Woodruff's absence.

After enjoying lunch, we prepared for our 2:30 PM – 3:20 PM session on Entra Application Governance, and delivered it with much joy.

Right after the session, I had to dash to get to the next event: KulenDayz.
