Being invited to speak at the first iteration of an event always feels special to me. That's why I looked forward to speaking at Azure Saturday Netherlands at the Shiphol-Rijk Shuberg Philis office.
The event name of the event gives it away, but this event was on a Saturday, so I had ample time to get to the venue without having to worry about traffic. When I got there, I feasted on Shuberg Philis' coffee and cookies while listening to Vladimir Stefanovic introducing his new role at Shuberg Philis and the event.
After Frank Zomer's presentation on Azure Stack HCI and a little break, Aleksandar Nikolic presented a session on crafting a hybrid PowerShell scripting environment and Mustafa Toroman shared his 10 things you need to do to build rock solid Azure tenant.
After Toroman's session, the agenda dictated that we had lunch. We enjoyed an incredible lunch at Shuberg Philis' long table upstairs, where we exchanged some wonderful stories. After lunch, I presented my session on security basics in Microsoft Entra ID (formerly known as Azure AD).
Several more sessions on Azure Data Factory and ChatGPT combined with C# completed the event. Then, we walked accross the road and enjoyed dinner with a beer to conclude a successful first iteration of Azure Saturday Netherlands.
Thank you to the Azure Saturday Netherlands organization and Shuberg Philis for having me as a speaker. Thank you to the sponsors of the event and the Azure Saturday global organization. And of course, a big thank you to all the attendees.
